Welcome to Shoemaker Custom Apparel
Our Story
Shoemaker Custom Apparel originated in 2005 as Berlin Embroidery & Screen Printing. Tyler Shoemaker began working as an accountant for the business in 2010. The Shoemaker family purchased the business in 2012 and continued to operate under the Berlin Embroidery name until 2017 when we became Shoemaker Custom Apparel. The foundation of our business is exceptional customer service, and our goal is to build long-term partnerships with our customers as their trusted source for branded apparel and promotional products. What started as a side hustle to make some extra income has turned into something bigger than we ever imagined, and we have our dedicated team and our loyal customers to thank for supporting us along the way. We are proud to serve you and we thank you for trusting us with your business!

Meet The Team
Tyler Shoemaker
Owner
Tyler was born and raised in Millersburg, OH and graduated from West Holmes High School in 2001. He went on to graduate from Kent State University in 2005 with a degree in accounting. After college Tyler worked in public accounting for 5 years becoming a licensed CPA in 2010. Tyler began working at Berlin Embroidery, the predecessor to Shoemaker Custom Apparel, in 2010 eventually purchasing the business in 2012.
Tyler is responsible for leading the team at Shoemaker Custom Apparel and also handles all accounting and financial aspects of the business. Occasionally you will find him working in the heat press department.
Outside of work he enjoys watching his children participate in sports, hiking and reading.
Tyler and his wife Tabitha reside outside of Millersburg, OH with their three daughters, Caoilainn, Lainey and Ella Grace.
Fun Fact – Tyler has held a track record at West Holmes Middle School since 1997
Tanya Everhart
Manager
Tanya grew up in Sugarcreek, OH and graduated from Garaway High School in 1997. After graduation she attended Tusco Beauty School for nail management. She currently resides in Sugarcreek with her children Zoe and Kamden.
Tanya has been with us since 2010 as our Manager. She excels at providing excellent customer service and enjoys the daily interactions with our customers.
Outside of work Tanya enjoys watching her daughter play softball, supporting her son at trap shoots, campfires, long walks, movies and visiting with family and friends.
Fun Fact – Tanya has been a licensed nail technician since 1998.
Chuck Emick
Production Manager
Chuck grew up in Mt. Eaton, OH and graduated from Waynedale High School in 2003. During his time at Waynedale he also attended the culinary arts program at the Wayne County Career Center.
Chuck has been with us since 2007 in various positions, and he is currently our Graphic Designer and Production Manager.
After attending a culinary arts program Chuck thought he would end up in the food industry, but things don’t always turn out as planned. His current position has allowed him to explore his creative side, and he enjoys seeing customers wear the designs he creates. He enjoys the work environment at Shoemaker Custom Apparel, and loves working with our awesome customers.
Outside of work you can find Chuck camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He also enjoys RC cars, video games and cooking.
Fun Fact – Chuck has been a license Amateur Radio Operator since he was 15 years old.
Diane McCullough
Screen Print Operator
Diane grew up in Mt. Eaton, OH and graduated from Waynedale High School in 2001.
She has been with us in various capacities since 2019, and she currently operates our automatic screen printing press.
Stacy Stump
Embroidery Operator
Stacy was born in Conneaut, OH and graduated from West Holmes High School in 2000.
Stacy started working with us in 2022 as our Embroidery Operator. Prior to working at Shoemaker Custom Apparel she gained experience sewing running belts and wedding garters. You may also recognize Stacy from her time as a server at a local restaurant.
Outside of work Stacy is an avid CrossFitter and she enjoys gardening.
Fun Fact – Stacy is an identical twin
Jayden Mullet
Screen Printing Assistant
Jayden was born and raised in Holmes County and comes from an Amish family. He graduated from West Holmes High School in 2023.
Jayden began working in our screen printing department in 2023 where his main responsibilities are washing screens, and stacking and folding shirts as they come out of the dryer.
Outside of work Jayden likes to travel to car shows.
Fun Fact – Jayden taught himself how to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission
Nikki Towner
Customer Service
Nikki lives outside of Glenmont, OH and graduated from West Holmes High School.
She started with us in 2023 as a screen printing assistant and she now serves in a customer service role.
